He began his working life at the age of 15 and faced significant challenges, including a complete physical and mental breakdown, as well as financial disaster. However, he found healing and rejuvenation through the principles of New Thought, which he later promoted through his writings and publishing efforts¹.

Atkinson wrote an estimated 100 books in the last 30 years of his life, contributing significantly to the fields of mental science, New Thought, and occultism. His works, such as “Thought Vibration” and “The Power of Concentration,” remain influential and continue to be studied by those interested in mental science and personal development¹².

He passed away on November 22, 1932, in Los Angeles, California, but his legacy lives on through his extensive body of work and the ongoing interest in New Thought and related philosophies
